Aug 25, 2021 ยท Afaik there is no file management on the switch. I think the management would be based online/cloud. On PC your savefile should be different to older d2 ones, like they already stated that. So to import it mostly would need your bnet account associated and some online connection to get things through.

Dec 17, 2021 ยท If players have a character that meets these requirements, they can follow these steps to import their old characters: Go to This PC > Local Disk (C:) > Users > (The players' username) > Saved I think it's in c/users/your user name / save games. Or something like that's or do a search on your comport for a .d2s file. Yeah the location was moved in a patch a few years ago. Catches some people out when they go from old to new patches and they can't find their characters due to the different save location. Create "reg_plugy.reg" file in "E:\Games\Diablo II PlugY" with the following content (note the double backslashes in there; you'll have to make sure you use them if you change the paths): Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Blizzard Entertainment\Diablo II] uSZg0Mo.
